Tiffany Scarlato, the firm’s founder, focuses her law practice on zoning, land use, land use litigation, environmental, municipal, and both commercial and residential real estate throughout the Hamptons. She represents buyers and sellers, landlords and tenants, brokers and developers, architects, contractors and owners and provides personal representation to select clientele. After many years of public service, she has opened her doors to a broader base of clients with the advent of her Sag Harbor office.
Most recently, Tiffany served as Chief Legal Officer for the Town of Southampton as the Town Attorney (2011-2016), overseeing the Town Attorney’s Office, Code Enforcement, the Fire Marshal and Animal Control, and has also served as Deputy Town Attorney for the Town of East Hampton (2001-2009). As an elected Sag Harbor Village Trustee (2006-2010), she spearheaded an update to the Village’s Comprehensive Plan, and was intimately involved in drafting the zoning adopted for the Village Business District. She also drafted the Village’s Affordable Housing Plan and remains active in her community, both as an advocate and community pillar and is a former member of the Sag Harbor Village Zoning Board of Appeals.
She received her BA from Villanova University in English in 1996 and continued on to obtain her JD from Hofstra University School of Law in 1999. She currently resides in Sag Harbor Village with her husband, Russell, and son Riley.
